Doobie Brothers were great
The Doobie Brothers were very good in concert, preferring the classics over the new material. One thing I immediately noticed as a drummer was the weak sound of the cymbals. They seemed to be Thin Crash cymbals. A lesson I've learned over the years is that with more guitarists on stage, you must play heavier, ensuring your cymbals can cut through the sound. Case in point, Anne Wilson had three guitars playing simultaneously, yet the cymbals were barely audible. Despite not performing "Minute by Minute," the concert was overall great! Kudos to War as well for their impressive performance!
